BBFFA's Child and Family Enrichment Fund has experienced a lower level of funding this year and last. Due to this, we must make some changes to bring our costs in line with funds available. We are sorry to have to do this, but wish to keep the whole organization going, even if with reduced benefits.
As of May 1, 2010:
- Children who are already adopted will be funded at the same rate as those currently in foster care/licensed kinship care (50% of the cost of the activity/event/item)
- The maximum is $75 per child per calendar year—foster or adopted
- Training will be funded at 50% of the cost, up to $75 per household per year
- The Household fund (for things like fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, etc.) is currently suspended
